@MstrFool: Well, since you ask, certain events have transpired that will allow me to spend much more time on EotG, and that is exactly what I intend to do. The update times for the next several comics will probably still be rather long, but know this: things are a-brewing.

@Cthulhu_Hungers: Actually I think Seth is drinking a PBR, (Pabst Blue Ribbon) Raven is drinking a martini, and Sherry is drinking a shot of whiskey or some such.

Happy Thanksgiving. That wonderful day where folks in the US celebrate the natives saving the starving colonists through gifts of food, by telling each other that it was the colonists that brought food to the natives to save them, before going on a genocidal rampage to wipe out the natives for having the unmitigated gall to be different and to have their own ways. All this so the colonists could have a place to be different and have their own ways from those of the respective countries they left. If I ever get arrested, again, I think I want a publicist rather then a lawyer. A lawyer can just get me off*, but a publicist could get me revered as a national hero for raping nuns and burning children. A short glance at the dark ages will show a few cases where that was literally the case... Yay humanity... Is it just me, or does any one else find it a bit ironic that all the 'good/kind God' religions are filled with a history of genocidal wars and other atrocities that they take /pride/ in. And yet, the one 'God is an abusive fuck up, to hell with him and his rules. Rebel and take creation for your self' religion rather looks down on any with in its ranks that feels a need to indulge in such things? Certainly they have been blamed for many things, and were the target of many of the other faiths atrocities. It is fortunate that the other religions have such poor aim that they rarely managed to hit the target, but still. There has never been a Satanic Inquisition, despite much skill with the apparatus used in such... Yum... what a party... Any way, there has never been a Satanic Crusade, Jehad or other holy or unholy war. By and large the majority are peaceful live and let live folk, with great parties, with leather and lace, and no need to feel ashamed of what they are.... Comic's not dead, it's gone longer than this without an update then come back. Just gotta have patience.

Ah yup. Though offering up a sacrifice or two may not hurt. In the interim, I have a fun project that some of you may also enjoy playing with. Print up a number of contracts in flowery legal speak. The contact should say that you are purchasing the signer's soul for a certain sum of money. I find it best to leave the sum blank and fill it in at the time of signing. Then do to a open air market like a flee market and start offering to buy peoples souls for $5, $10 or $20 and pay them when they sign. Do this for a few weeks and watch people's reactions. If they want to cancel the contract you can sell it back to them, for a few bucks profit. Once you feel you have gotten enough amusement from this you can take the contracts to the local churches and and explain what they are to the priest. You can then offer to sell the souls to the church or just donate them outright, both options can be quite amusing. Though always keep track of what souls were given or sold to what church. Some folks can become downright psychotic overtime when they think about the fact that they sold their soul for a few bucks, and it can be unhealthy for you if you can't point them to who holds the contract. The expressions on folks faces is well worth the few bucks when you tell them that you sold or donated their soul to a local church. *****

Word of warning, some folks will become violent when they hear that some one is trying to buy souls. Church gang beatings are a real possibility, so be aware that you will be in a high risk situation of you try this.

Remember last time we proclaimed the comic dead? The talk of toast and religion went on for so long, and then they came back. If the comic was dead, we would have been told so. So for now, I reckon Tristan and David are just having some schedule difficulties :)

I like toasts. I specially like to put the toaster oven sideways so that I can put cheese over the toasts and have it to perfectly melt on them... Delicious! Also, yeah, this is not dead, only in hiatus. As always.

/Tilts head, and looks to Faindel/ "Put the toaster oven sideways? I could see that with a toaster, as they hold the soon to be toast vertical. However, I have never seen a toaster oven that does that. All the ones I have seen have horizontal surfaces, and putting it sideways would cause the bread and cheese to slide to the side and likely flop onto the heating element. Not only would this arrangement seem likely to result in inferior sandwiches, but ignition also seems likely. Unless you are one of the gods that favors burnt offerings, this seems unlikely to produce an edible result. Though it seems a most insightful way of using a normal toaster to make a wonderful toasted cheese sandwich. With this in mind I feel it wise to ask, are you a god of mischief that favors burnt offerings, did you misspeak slightly in saying 'toaster oven' when just 'toaster' was meant, or do you perhaps have a toaster oven of a sort I am unfamiliar with? Hmm, could even be a mix of all three, come to think of it. Any way, I look forward to your reply.

Oh my, I do seem to have misspoke, haven't I? A plain toaster was what I was reffering to with that post, and I feel terribly sorry because of that mistake. Regarding mischievous gods, I am afraid that I could not claim to be one, and to be honest, I don't think I would like to be one; I like burnt offerings tho, they make for such personal gifts... But I divague. In any case it is wonderful to find someone still alive wondering around this dead pages. I do hope we get to meet again.
